As a Lead for our Lakeville powder coat paint team, you will be responsible for leading the paint team in scheduled work assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies while working alongside them to directly contribute to daily production output.
You will be working 4, 10-hour days Monday - Thursday from 5:30 am - 3:30 pm. Occasional overtime on Fridays or weekends as necessary.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in powder coat painting, preferably as a lead
- Ability to influence others to stay focused on production processes and effectively communicate with facility leaders
- Read measuring instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Read and interpret job routings, work orders, blueprints, sketches or other production related documents
- Use Infor Visual to manage work order processes and MS office suite products such as Excel and Word
- Determine and establish part preparation, cleaning, powder application and curing requirements for a wide variety of metal production parts for the powder coat team
- Lead team to meet established set-up and part quality requirements as established on work orders to meet production standards and deadlines
- Create production plans in a contract manufacturing setting to efficiently process various parts and colors
- Examine and inspect components for defects prior to and after powder coating
- Inspect and maintain wash and powder application equipment
- Load powder into machine, apply powder coating using a powder coating spray gun
- Mask parts as required per customer specifications
- Ensure the paint area is clean and well organized, including cleaning powder coating machine
