J Edward Staffing is seeking RN/Psych to support a Large Healthcare client located in the Mansfield Center, CT area.
Type: Contract, full time 13 weeks
Shift: Evening and Night shift, 8 hr shifts
Rate: $65.00/hr
Job Summary:
Assesses plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of the patient. Promotes adaptive responses of patient and family to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction. Exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions. Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in their assigned nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring the very best patient and family experience by optimizing all interactions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school- BSN preferred but not required
- Current CT State RN License
- Must have at least 1 year experience or more, working in a hospital, psychiatric inpatient facility
- Prior experience with adult and adolescent population
- CPR- AHA BLS
- EMR: Prior use of EMR system preferred not required
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
