We are currently seeking a motivated Field Surveyor to join our team.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

· Primarily work as a single survey crew; larger projects will consist of multiple team members

· Responsible for accurate measurements and identify areas of improvement

· Perform office or field calculations on construction projects and boundary surveys.

· Responsibility of equipment, tools and other items needed to perform your tasks; equipment must be kept in clean and in working order at all times

· Perform office duties such as data transfer, note scanning, file organization

· Check calculation, survey drafts

· Schedule field work and communicate with contractors or project supervisor

· Perform other duties as assigned

Required qualifications

· Communicate verbally and in writing to clients and team members

· Good driving record

· 2 years minimum on a survey or construction layout crew

· Have a good understanding of construction plans and staking techniques

· Knowledge of boundary and topographic surveying

· Can physically work outside in inclement weather with the tools of our trade, hammers, shovels, survey equipment and lift 50 lbs.

· Strong understanding of computer technology with a willingness to learn new software.

· Personal appearance must be clean and professional.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
