What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Super position at J&J Management Services LLC?
The general responsibilities for the Super position include general cleaning (indoors and outdoors), sweeping, vacuuming and buffing floors, shampooing carpets, power washing, maintaining the cleanliness of laundry rooms or office spaces, and moving furniture. The position requires both indoor and outdoor work including snow removal (hand-shoveling and heavy lifting). Light handyman services would be required to address apartment issues. Employees in this position must be able to routinely lift at least 50 pounds and stand on their feet for several consecutive hours at a time in their performance routine. Responsibilities and Duties
- Use cleaning supplies to clean surfaces, walls etc.
- Mop, sweep and vacuum floors
- Pick up debris, remove trash and empty waste receptacles; replace liners.
- Move heavy furniture, set up and break down chairs.
- Shovel snow with hand shovel (during winter season).
-Keeps garbage area and laundry rooms organized and clean at all times
-Ensures building is presentable at all times
-Address various maintenance task
- Maintains awareness of any issues in the building
-Oversee Move in and Move outs
-Route Repair and Maintenance Items: snaking lines, replacing light bulbs, basic carpentry
