BASIC FUNCTION
Under the directions of the VP of Operations, the Dispatcher will assist in scheduling and dispatching work crews, vehicles and equipment to appropriate locations according to customer requests and immediate needs. Primary functions will include creating and completing Work Orders, Inventory Control and other duties needed to assist VP of Operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Create work orders for products/services, follow through until job completion and prepare for invoicing.
· Supervises the preparation and load-out of the job, ensuring that appropriate equipment, supplies and products are inspected, inventoried, properly loaded, secured and accounted for.
· Actively monitors all jobs and day-to-day activity, problem solves any issues on client locations, provides updates on status of all jobs, communicates all issues/concerns encountered including measures taken to resolve the problem.
· Relay information to and from work crews and supervisors
· Using telephone, email or text messages to contact employees
· Organizing work requests, completed jobs, inventory records and other information.

· Excellent Clerical and organizational skills to keep track of crews, equipment and schedules
· Ability to multitask with different and sometimes conflicting events happening at the same time
· Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm others during rapidly changing circumstances.
· Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Valid Driver’s License
· Eligible to work in the United States
· Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, Excel, MS Word, etc.
· Knowledgeable in office equipment operations (ie. Laptop, printers, etc.)
· Pass the company’s drug screen and background check
· Heavy work – Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
· This position requires standing, walking and sitting while working either indoors or outdoors.
· While performing the job, will be required to lift/carry, push/pull, reach, squat, kneel, and or climb.
· Minimum of 5 years of related experience
· Has developed an exceptional skill set within the service line and a firm understanding of other service functions.
· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
