In this role you will: Develop skills & capability of technician workforce Area Leader is responsible for their area 24/7, including spending time with each team weekly Coach and develop Team Leaders to drive each of your four teams to be self sufficient Create a culture of following standards to ensure that the process is in control and we are consistent across teams Responsible for meeting Production, Quality, Cost, Deliver, Safety, and Organization (PQCDSO) targets for their area Maintain and communicate scorecard for your area, use scorecard information to adjust action plans to drive continuous improvement Learn and demonstrate excellent understanding of overall plant product flow including all inputs and outputs Identify and eliminate losses from the operation Understand how to use SQMS tools to drive out losses; coach your team to use SQMS tools effectively to drive out losses Manage personnel issues, i.e., time & attendance, vacation planning, staffing, temporary employee staffing, training plans, and conflict resolution. (List not all-inclusive.) Champion Autonomous Maintenance efforts for team Meet with each direct report employee 1:1 once per quarter at a minimum Ensure plan for growth discussions are happening on time for every employee on your team Understand labor laws and HIPPA requirements Proactively coach through disciplinary process and administer documentation as needed Improve sanitation and start-up execution Always manage with Basic Beliefs and Our Commitment to Each Other as a foundation Coach/own a plant wide daily management system (DMS) The Right Role for You Are you motivated by the chance to help provide quality products consumers count on every day?
