J. Merullo Imports is looking for a Sales Representative in Syosset, NY. We are looking for an energetic and experienced sales professional with a passion for the floral industry to join our team.

This position is responsible for generating new client leads and expanding their portfolio through both cold and warm calling. You will be working closely with our team to develop a strategy to achieve company growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the floral industry, knowledge of the flower market, and a background in sales or other related fields.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new and existing client needs and create solutions for both.
  • Reach out to clients via phone, email, text, and live chat.
  • Build relationships with clients that you have converted to customers.
  • Manage your own pipeline of prospects throughout the day by following up on open opportunities, qualifying leads, and converting prospects into customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals set by management.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace while organizing your files and documents in your computer/phone system.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience for all customers t

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the floral industry
  • Spanish speaking a plus

6 am - 3pm or 7 am - 4 pm every other Saturday

On site . No remote availability.

Salary to commensurate with experience.

Medical / Dental / 401k available

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
