Position Goal
Setup, maintain, support, and provide training for student information systems database as it relates to the completion of federal and state student data submissions.

Knowledge of ADE business rules, reporting system and data collection requirements.
Strong mathematical, statistical, logical and organizational skills.
Strong Understanding of following report genres: ADMS, ELLS, SPED, EOY, ROLL, YEE.
Strong knowledge of Schoolmaster and the ADE SAIS system.
Good human relation skills.
Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintenance
Supervise year-end office close-out procedures and perform year-end system rollover, calendar generation and new school year system setup.
Ensure that the district is up-to-date and responsive to changing requirements from both ADE and the US Department of Education.
Support and Training
Attend ADE and Vendor training events, and train other staff members on new material.
Provide job-specific training in the use of student management systems and SAIS (ADE) applications to attendance clerks
Provide ongoing support to student management system users in the area of state reporting
Write new and update existing procedures and training manuals for end users in the area of state reporting.
Develop strong communication throughout the District for accurate student reporting and code compliance by all personnel entering data.
Reporting
Through accurate and timely reporting, ensure maximum allowable district funding in the areas of ADM (student counts) and support program add-ons such as Special Education, ELL, No Child Left Behind, Title I, Gifted, Homeless, Evacuee, Emergency Immigrant and Homebound Services.
Provide accurate data aggregation and customized reports in order to support district and school objectives such as planning, goal attainment, acquisition of additional services and grants management.
Monthly audit data in both the District and ADE applications, and ensure appropriate adjustments.
Record Keeping
Annual archival of District program records.
SAIS Online Application for reporting tuitioned – out-of-district students.
Maintain records of SAIS transactions, results and corrections.
Ensure all student detail reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Conduct SAIS uploads at least once per week.
All other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Services.
