J&O Plastics, a leader in the plastics industry, is searching for an Injection Mold Tool Setter. This position will be responsible for all mold changes both set up and removal, as well as job clean up, and all required paperwork and documentation. We are looking for a leader who can work as an integral part of the team.
Injection Mold Tool Setter Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set and remove molds according to procedures and as production schedule dictates.
- Troubleshoot machine problems
- Load programs for robots and machines
- Maintain compliance with safety
- Keep working areas neat, clean, and organized at all times
- Responsible for cleanup of all tools and equipment needed to complete the job
Injection Mold Tool Setter Qualifications:
- Ability to read and write in English
- Valid driver’s license and previous forklift certification strongly preferred
- Open to shift as it has not yet been determined
- Follow instructions and safety procedures
- Must be able to communicate with others both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to work with attention to detail and in an organized and critical manner
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Overtime will be available
Injection Mold Tool Setter Knowledge and Skills
- Technical and mechanical skills to set up and pull mold
- Skills to start and follow tasks through to completion
- Work with motivation, urgency, and goal oriented
- Ability to work long hours as needed
- Work with little to no supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Salary : $31,000 - $39,300
