Laborer/Trainee

We are a small plastering company located in southern Rhode island. Our jobs are located mostly in South county, Narragansett, North Kingstown, Westerly, but we travel to jobs in southern CT and northern parts of the state. We focus on quality and being professional. This sets us apart from our competition and we focus on the details of each job.

This Laborer role, with time and training will turn into a full time plastering role for the company.

Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various physical tasks to assist with construction, maintenance, and other general labor duties. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy fast pace working and are looking for a hands-on role.

Duties:
- Perform manual labor tasks such as unloading the truck, lifting bags, carrying, prepping/covering floors, and moving materials
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment as required
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment

- Must own working vehicle to drive to each job we travel to
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
