We are seeking an Office Coordinator to join our Corporate team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Corporate team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Office Coordinator. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of administrative, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.
We are seeking an energetic Office Coordinator to work in our Orlando, FL office. J.S. Held is focused on learning and development and is continually looking to attract and retain top talent who are creative, self-motivated, and organized.
This position will be based out of our Orlando, FL office with occasional travel to the Tampa, FL office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the Orlando and Tampa, FL teams
- Screen and distribute incoming calls for J.S. Held.
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Support special projects with the OC team
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments and book travel
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Prepare reports/spreadsheets
- Document Analysis
- Work as part of a team with the national phone operators
- Assists with key facilities activities to include vendor relationship management
- Maintaining the general upkeep of the premises
- Carry out routine checks to ensure safety and security
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Microsoft Office required. Must be Excel, Word, and Power Point proficient and have the ability to embrace new technology.
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Previous experience answering calls in a high-volume capacity.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Problem-solving and decision making
- Proactivity and self-direction
- Interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a managerial role.
