Superintendent

Jab Construction, located in Rigby, Idaho, is seeking a highly motivated Superintendent to join our team!

As a Superintendent, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards on our construction job sites. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Project Planning and Coordination

• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project schedules and ensure close adherence to project timelines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Review project documents, including plans and specs to ensure adherence to project requirements.

Supervision and Leadership

• Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, including subcontractors and on-site personnel.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors' work to maintain project progress and minimize delays.

Communication and Reporting

• Directly report to the Project Manager and/or Owner on a daily basis
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and others
• Facilitate effective communication between clients and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports, including documentation of site activities, issues, and resolutions via Microsoft Teams.
• Conduct regular meetings with project teams to discuss project status, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in conjunction with the Project Manager

Schedule Management

• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
• Anticipate and address potential delays or issues that may impact project timelines.
• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or unforeseen circumstances.
• Add all schedule changes to shared calendar via Google Calendar
• Update Microsoft Teams regularly
