DESCRIPTION
Position at JAC Products
Our manufacturing facility in Saline, MI is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team! As Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating the completion of all plant accounting, financial reporting activities. and partnering with Operations to achieve operational and financial targets.
Responsibilities:
Strategic business partner of the manufacturing team.
Responsible for accounting, financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, inventory management, forecasting, cost accounting, forecasting, and related analytical analysis
Responsible for the monthly financial closing process
Ensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively
Responsible for fixed asset accounting, including capital project reviews, asset capitalization and the physical inventory of fixed assets.
Accountable for inventory management, ensuring that the plant's inventory controls are adequate, reconciling inventory balances monthly, identifying overage and aging material issues, reviewing/investigating inventory adjustments and coordinating periodic physical inventories.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (accounting or finance preferred)
3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
