Oven Worker

Position: contract Roto Molding Team Member

Hours: 2nd shift: 2:45 pm – 11:15 PM m-f

Pay: Starting $16.65/hr -$18.65/hr in 12 months

Overtime: May be required during peak season when approved by the Roto-Molding Manager.

Reports to: 2nd shift Roto Molding Shift Supervisor

General Responsibilities:

Continuously Strive to produce some of the most exciting outdoor products with Porsche-like quality and performance.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Promote and ensure good Health Safety Environment practices are followed
• Ensure customer quality standards are adhered to and related issues are responded to in a timely manner.
• Learns the safety steps and operation of running various roto-molding machines.
• Heavy lifting is required at times (weight can vary from 5 lbs. to 85 lbs.)
• Meet daily production demands while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Use of various hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, impact guns) and plastic trimming tools.
• Basic material handling, moving material from storage area to area of operation.
• Inspect and record roto molding processes.
• Perform all QC checks and reports to Manager if parameters are not met.

Qualifications:

· Industry Expertise

o Preferred Roto molding experience

o Basic knowledge of hand/power tools

· People Person

• Have a good sense of humor and be generally upbeat.

· Ability to work under pressure with limited resources, completing priorities and deadlines.

· Able to Lift 40 lbs. -80lbs consistently and with teamwork when necessary.

· Comfortable working in hot environments with seasonal temperature fluctuations.

· Able to work weekends and off shifts, as needed.

Skills and Experience Preferred:

• Experience in the outdoor market helpful
• Preferred Rotomolding experience
• Detail Oriented
• Plastics manufacturing experience.
• Basic Assembly experience utilizing small hand tools such as beveled edge tools, sharp blades , air routers.

Work Environment

· Workers are required to wear safety gear, such as safety glasses, Steel-toed shoes, and often recommended or required to wear safety gear such as gloves, flame-resistant clothing, a respirator mask, or ear plugs. Depending on the materials and equipment involved, team members might experience exposure to loud noise or hazardous fumes, high heat work environment, chemicals, oils, or particles from various sources, including petroleum products, fiberglass, burning plastics, metal filings, sawdust, paint or industrial cleaners. Workers must also pay attention at all times, as assembly line tools and machinery can potentially inflict serious injury as the result of negligence or breakdown.
