Mechanical Estimator

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role as a Mechanical Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks:

Consistently deliver high-quality estimates.

· Build a post-mortem review process where the estimator and Project Managers review

estimated hours vs. actual.

· Fully utilize FastPIPE and our quoting tool (currently North Boundary)

· Ensure sufficient supervisor and PM time are included in quotes.

· Ensure all shared services between trades are included in quotes.

· 0% of jobs have cost revisions before starting the work due to missed scope.

· 0% error rate on missing details of work scope

· Strong process of sourcing multiple prices for quotes (sub-contractors,

equipment, and material)

· Jobs lost are estimated very competitively within 10% of other contractors.

· Build top-quality estimates – both for Plan and Spec work that requires a deep

understanding of drawings and smaller direct owner jobs with no

prints/documentation.

· Achieve estimating goal of 20 estimates per week.

$70,000 Annual Salary plus performance-based commission
