ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
At least two years of college in Business related field preferred
One year of accounts payable experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word software (create spreadsheets and Word documents)
Ability to operate a ten-key calculator
Ability to comply with all JPS policies
Ability to comply with all AP procedures and processes
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with vendors and school personnel
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Accounts Payable Coordinator

N/A
Job Goal
To process all accounts payable for the District for prompt payment to vendors.
Essential Functions
Validates all purchase and non-purchase pay requests for appropriate coding, supporting documentation and authorization
Inputs all purchase and non-purchase pay requests
Alphabetizes and batches, by vendor name, all pay requests
Reconciles AP edit to batched documents
Maintains and update analysis for all utilities
Mails and/or delivers checks to appropriate locations
Performs other duties as requested or assigned
Displays a customer first attitude
Performs other duties as requested or assigned
Evaluation
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
