Who we are

Jacksonville Community Pet Clinic (Beaches) is ready to bring on a talented Hospital Manager to our amazing team! We are a fast-paced small animal hospital with a fun atmosphere located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. 

We started as a mobile clinic and grew rapidly! We now have 2 physical locations and continue to use our mobile clinic to service the animal needs of the community. We offer preventative medicine, in house labs, laser therapy, radiology, dentistry, and comprehensive pet care.

We are located between Jacksonville Beach and Neptune Beach. This area is great for bustling nightlife, shopping, fishing, and water sports. We are also located within 3 hours of Orlando and Savannah, GA. There is plenty to do and an exceptional sports scene. The Jacksonville Jaguars stadium is also nearby and hosts great events!

As the Veterinary Hospital Manager, you play an integral role in leading the hospital team and providing excellent care to our pet patients and clients. Our team members hold the highest regard for maintaining a healthy, safe, and cohesive work environment. You will lead by example to ensure its success and manage all aspects of operations and people management within our fast-paced, multi-doctor veterinary hospital. The primary duties center around business/P&L management, HR functions, and instituting/maintaining compliance with policies and procedures that ensure safe and efficient practices within the hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management/leadership role within the Veterinary field required
• Previous Veterinary Technician experience preferred
• Have empathy and respect towards pets, clients and colleagues
• Able to review, understand and react to findings in financial reports, budgets, and Profit & Loss statements
• Have excellent interpersonal, listening, and written and verbal communication skills
• Exercise strong time management skills, being able to plan, organize and prioritize tasks 
• Possess a good attitude and contribute to building and fostering a positive work environment
• Have strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
• Maintain a constructive and harmonious relationship with co-workers, client and vendors
