Program launched at the Zoo in 2016 to provide culturally diverse teens in Jacksonville with innovative leadership and employment opportunities. Wildlife Immersion and Leadership Development (W.I.L.D.) will introduce participants to wildlife, nature, and life skills while preparing them for a career.
Wildlife Immersion and Leadership Development (W.I.L.D) Program Instructor
The position primary focus is on the facilitation, development, execution and evaluation of the Wildlife Immersion and Leadership Development program. The role is a daily mentor for the youth throughout the program providing life skills through community partnerships as ambassadors of the zoo. You are a motivational leader energized to build and maintain relationships, communicate, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You can problem solve independently and is an expert at scheduling programming with a variety of audiences.

Are you
- A professional with a two (2) year associate degree in youth development or related field?
- Experienced with two (2) years of working with youth programs?
- Experienced with one (1) year facilitating training in large groups?
- Experienced providing extraordinary customer services?
- Energetic and positive leader?
- A licensed driver?
- Comfortable driving a 12-passenger van?
- Experienced public speaker?
