Your Impact:
The Innovative Aerospace Division (IAD) of Jacobs, an entrepreneurial developer of software-defined radios, radars and airborne ISR AgilePods, seeks an ISR-knowledgeable project manager to capture and execute the expansion of airborne ISR programs within IAD.
Duties:
- Responsible for the performance of relatively small technical projects or a definable portion of a larger technical program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.
- Manages the technical direction of a project through the project identification and problem statement, resource and staffing set-up, execution, and close-out in accordance with project objectives, contract direction, and customer deliverables.
- Responsible for assisting business development team in acquiring and sustaining follow-on business associated with current assigned projects and for supporting new business development by contributing to proposal development, management, and submission.
- Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects from concept to closure and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
- Serves as the direct interface to all aspects of the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
- Defines and/or develops project scope and objectives, detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

Here’s What You’ll Need:Required:
- Mid-to-Advanced level Microsoft Project experience.
- Mandatory military airborne ISR experience.
- Most recent experience MUST INCLUDE 75% or more direct project management experience.
- Previous Military Acquisition experience (former military acquisition officer a plus).
- Must be conversant on how to execute ETC, EAC, and programmatic budgeting projections.
- Bachelors with 8-10 years of experience or a Masters’ with 5 years of experience.
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Experience with the integration of payloads on airborne ISR platforms.
- Experience working with Air Force and/or DoD requirements, acquisition, and transition.
- Experience working with R&D teams and transitioning R&D systems into operations highly desired.
- Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or systems engineering strongly preferred.
- TS/SCI strongly preferred.

Most work will be done at a desk or computer.
Work Environment:
General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.
Equipment & Machines:
General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance:
Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

Clearance: Must be able obtain and maintain a security clearance (minimum SECRET, TS/SCI preferred).
