We're seeking an emerging Environmental Project Manager to oversee projects for federal clients. You'll apply your technical experience in soil and groundwater investigation and remediation to projects while championing safety, quality and the well-being of your team.
This position can be based out of any of our Southern California offices, you'll have the opportunity to work on remediation projects across the region. As a PM, you'll lead field observation and data collection assignments such as drilling, monitoring well installation, and soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling. You're analytical and writing skills will be called upon as you perform analysis of data from sampling, maps, and drawings to write clear and concise technical reports. You'll provide motivation and direction to project teams and be surrounded by mentorship?and mentoring?opportunities to help you?and your team?thrive.? Here's What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree
- Professional environmental characterization/remediation project experience, including environmental sampling and subcontractor oversight at the task manager or project manager level
- Specific training, knowledge, and experience necessary to develop, review, and implement various work plans and quality assurance project plans.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations; knowledge of CERCLA regulatory processes
- HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain and maintain and experience as SSHO
- Ability to plan, perform and oversee field work.
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
- Master's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree
- Professional Engineer, Geologist or Project Management Professional (P.E., P.G, or PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain
- USACE EM385-1-1 training or OSHA 30-hour training
- Experience with the environmental consulting industry managing DoD projects
- Located in the Southern CA area
