Here's What You'll Need :

• Working directly with the client
• Collect data and assemble Caltrans permit applications.
• Review engineering drawings- including Traffic Control Plans, Design Standard Decision Documents (DSDDs), and Utility / Encroachment Permit Policy Exceptions for Caltrans submission.
• Attend / participate in team meetings in support of project development and to review engineering drawings with team.

Requirements

• 2-5 years’ experience (highway design, traffic operations / design / management, highway construction, and project management) with Caltrans.
• 2-5 years’ experience working with California utility companies.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Caltrans specific policies, procedures, general and special provisions, and standards specifications and guidelines.
• Proven experience of working directly in a consulting environment.
• Experience working with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

The base salary range for this position is $113,400 -148,800.. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
