We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Program Director who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at our client’s site in Chicago, IL, working alongside other professionals and Owner’s staff, you’ll be responsible for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.You’ll manage and provide construction oversight and resolve complex construction project related challenges. 

As the onsite Owners Representative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of a project, but also the materials management, schedule, cost, scope, and safety of the team. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle projectchallenges will allow you to thrive.

Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.  

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture 
  • 20 years’ of construction project management experience including projects of $100 million or more
  • Prior Laboratory, Research Facility, and Higher-Ed Project Management experience 
  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building  

Ideally, You’ll Also Have: 

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CM-Lean, DBIA Professional, Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification
