Your Impact:
Jacobs Nuclear Projects and Consulting (NPC) provides a wide range of services to government and industry in engineering, environmental, operations and maintenance, scientific, engineering, environmental and technical services. We are currently executing many contracts, performing work that is essential to our clients' missions across a broad range of functional areas.
This position provides support of day-to-day Project Management functions on various projects. The incumbent performs a variety of support assignments. He/she assists in performing tasks as defined by the Project Manager to support the project for which they are working. Successful candidate will become familiar with NPC’s Project Management and Engineering procedures to perform tasks as necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of Project Management and Engineering.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Regular standing, sitting, bending, and handling of hard copy files and documents. Regular computer work. Ability to move records boxes/records weighing up to 30 pounds, and stacks of paper weighing up to 20 pounds is essential Gathers, compiles, tracks and reports on information relevant to project assignment from multiple sources Sets up and maintains files, refers callers, arranges meetings and conferences, receives, refers and answers mail Reviews drafts and finished documents for grammar usage Uses personal computer to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data and other duties as assigned.
Here’s What You’ll Need:- High School diploma or equivalent required
- USA Citizenship
- 10+ or more years of experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Above average keyboarding skills
- Prior administrative support
- Experience providing detailed meeting minutes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven attention to detail
- Prior Project Management department support experience
- Executive Support experience highly desired

U.S. Citizenship required. Valid driver's license is required. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required. Must take and pass a pre-employment drug and background check.
