We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Architect to join our Midwest team.
As a design professional, we will look to you to primarily support senior-level engineers and project managers. Bring your expertise to conduct technical evaluations, generate designs, and provide construction services in support of our programs within the built environment.

Here’s What You’ll Need:- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in architecture from an NCARB accredited institution
- Registered Architect license
- National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certification
- At least 8 years of experience in Architecture
- Experience delivering design projects, from project definition through final building design
- Experience writing specifications, with sustainable building design, building design, code and life safety, condition and space use studies
- Experience with Life safety and OSHA requirements
- Understanding of building and fire codes, energy codes and building envelope design
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn Jacobs’ proprietary tools
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Consulting experience for municipal water and wastewater clients, or industrial public or private sector experience
- Time management skills to complete tasks on schedule and budget
- Experience providing services during construction
- Self-motivated with skills needed to work remotely and independently, particularly during pandemic
- Involvement in professional society organizations, community organization or other leadership roles with volunteer organizations
