Your Impact:

Jacobs is seeking a Workspace Deployment and Disposition Lead for an upcoming contract at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The National Air and Space Intelligence Center ( “NASIC”)  is scheduled to release the Communications & Enterprise Information Technology Support Services (COMET) IDIQ in early June 2021.  This contract is performed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and is valued at  67 million over a five-year period.  Jacobs Technology will provide key positions in the End User Workspace Tasks which include Service Desk, Workspace Deployment, Software Administration/Installation, and Multimedia/Video teleconferencing.  Jacobs Technology is also supporting Database and Application/Server Software Administration.

Job Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide DLADS and Factory support during core business hours
• Provide Level II Service Desk support
• Provide support to resolve service request tickets for new installation or desktop configurations within defined service level expectations.
• Execute up to 350 desktop computer recapitalizations/month as needed to include imaging and the removal/disposition of old computers.

Education, Experience, and Training: 

• Possess & maintain Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification as required by Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 17-1303, Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8140.01, and DoD 8570.01- M.
• TS SCI Clearance 

Estimated Work Load:

• 11,653 end-user workstations
• 126 requests per month over 4 networks (NIPRNet, Cornerstone-Secret, Cornerstone-Top Secret, StoneGhost)
• Create and maintain software packages used for customer installation within the NASIC application catalog and self-service portal
• 917 software titles
• 5-7 software packages per month for the application catalog
