Your Impact:
This is an entry-level analyst position. Participates as junior Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) test team member to perform test planning and conduct standards conformance and interoperability testing and analysis.
• Under the supervision of the Test Conductor, performs IBS/Common Message Format (CMF) standards conformance/interoperability test planning and test execution through on-the-job training.
• Assists the Test Conductor in collection of real-time test data, analysis of test results and drafting thorough, accurate, and complete formal test documentation.
• Participates in Integrated Test Team (ITT) meetings and attends Technical Exchange Meetings (TEM) and other test working groups.
• Participates in teleconferences where the status of all test and evaluation (T&E) related products and processes are defined and coordinated.
• Assists the Task Leader/Lab Manager in development of interoperability test points and data collection for Combined Test Team (CTT) members, to include interoperability test requirements.
• Assists the Task Leader/Lab Manager as required supporting standards conformance and interoperability test events, system under test (SUT) and test participants.
Here's What You'll Need:
Requires an Associate's degree; a minimum of 60 semester hours of formal education working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience; or at least 6 years of experience is required. Related certifications in the area of specialization may be substituted for 1 year of experience. The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties.
• This position requires an active Secret security clearance on hire date with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance. Current TS/SCI is desired.
• Familiar with manned and unmanned Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems, sensors, and operations.
• Familiar with Department of Defense (DoD) operations and environment, and comfortable with IT systems and software.
• Familiar with and actively using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiar with Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) collection and exploitation operations, ELINT data and/or Electronic Order of Battle (EOB) is desired.
• Familiar with Military Standard (Mil-Std) 6018 (IBS/CMF) data formats, Mil-Std 6020 data forwarding, and/or Mil-Std 6040 US Message Text Format (USMTF) is desired. Verification and Validation (V&V) / standards conformance, or interoperability test experience is desired.
The ideal candidate will have operational experience in one or more phases of ELINT collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination (CPAD) from a variety of relevant DoD Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) airborne, ground, or surface systems. These systems include but are not limited to: EP-3 Aries, P-8 Poseidon, RC-12 Guardrail, RC-135 Rivet Joint, Distributed Common Ground Station, and Arleigh Burke-class destroyer.

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.
Work Environment
An inside and outside environment (considerations: closed quarters, close together, lighting). Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions.
Equipment and Machines
Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.
Attendance
Core work hours will be between 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.
Other Essential Functions
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.
