The Role:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Team of Dishwashers. The Dishwasher is the steward of safety and the wheel that makes the entire operation hum. They are a critical component to the success of the team and the guest and is an advocate for safety and sanitation for the whole.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensures all plate ware, glassware and tools are clean, sanitized, and ready for service.
- Maintain a clean and organized station.
- Manage your time to provide the dishes and vessels required to execute the culinary program.
- Sets up and breaks down dish machine, including arms, screens, and baskets on a daily basis.
- Ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere.
- Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive regarding the front of the house and back of the house safety (food safety, potential hazards for employees or Guests)
Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- High standards for cleanliness and organization.
- The ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond.
- Previous experience in a food service role is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- Participate in Food Safety training. ServSafe certification is a plus.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Interested in a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to understand and comply with proper food handling and serving techniques and with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Willing to learn and grow in the role.
