Host Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner

Maintain an accurate and up to date floor plan on our Yelp waitlist tablet

Clear, bus and sanitize tables and menus between seatings

Seat guests when tables become available

Control crowds when restaurant is on a wait and direct guests to appropriate waiting areas

Assist in answers phones and taking and entering takeout orders in the Toast POS

Help maintain organization and cleanliness of restaurant throughout the shift

Qualifications

Applicants should have the motivation to take initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Applicants should possess great organizational and prioritizing skills, have the ability to multi-task and to learn quickly while taking direction from co-workers and managers

Requirements

Recent hosting/serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant or experience in a customer service environment.

Applicants will need to be able to stand and move around for long periods and be expected to lift, load, and carry up to 40 pounds.

Weekends are required

Hours of operation: Wednesday-Sunday, 8am-3pm

Shifts may start at 7am and end at 4pm

Salary: $13.50 per hour
