Currently, we are in search for an organized manager who can produce high-quality work while maintaining strong relationships with our current clients.
Job Summary: Manage tax compliance, clients, employees and various tax projects through all related phases of the tax process with minimal supervision. Tax work will consist of various industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, insurance, health care, governmental, wholesale/distribution, financial institution and nonprofit companies.
Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- CPA required
- 5 years of public accounting experience in income tax preparation for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations with a minimum of 2 years at the tax manager level
- Comprehensive understanding of income tax laws
- Income tax research experience and skills
- Ability to manage client engagements from start to finish
- Strong training & mentoring abilities
- A proactive and responsive individual
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong management skills, able to lead a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work > 40 hours per week during tax season
- Ability to supervise and train professional staff
- Ability to work in the U.S.
