What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interface Analyst position at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center?
Duties:
Ø Cloverleaf
Ø Navigate the Cloverleaf user interfaces
Ø Program filters and scripts using TCL and AIX shell scripting
Ø Design/implement interfaces on the Cloverleaf interface platform
Ø Monitor interfaces and take corrective action as needed
Ø Review Cloverleaf errors logs daily
Ø Retransmit HL7 messages per requests from ancillary systems
Ø Epic
Ø Navigate the Epic Bridges application
Ø Create/monitor Epic Error Work Queues
Ø Monitor Epic interfaces and stop/restart as required
Ø Maintain and modify Epic interfaces in both Hyperspace and Text mode
Ø Review interface error logs, take corrective action and follow-up
Ø Create and work issue via Epic’s Sherlock ticketing system
Ø Participate in weekly Epic EDI conference calls via GoToMeeting requests
Ø Participate in weekly conference calls with 3rdparty vendors
Ø Verify/validate changes made by ADT team regarding the addition of new departments, units, beds
Ø Verify/validate changes made by Orders team
Ø Edit/resubmit Epic HL7 messages as needed
Ø Charges/Reporting
Ø Ensure that all charge files are transferred as needed on schedule
Ø Create ad hoc reports regarding interfaces, charges and reporting
Ø Create reports/listing via Cache’ programming
Ø Operational
Ø Provide on-call support for off-hours coverage
Ø Respond to interface related trouble tickets
