What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Services Engineer position at Jamf?
What you’ll do at Jamf:
At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Education Services Engineer will work under minimal supervision with members of the Services team to deliver training courses and other service offerings related to the Jamf portfolio of products and complementary technologies. The Education Services Engineer will also assist in internal training efforts including research, documentation, internal training sessions, and creation of public-facing educational deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver both remote and onsite training classes to customer, prospects, and partners.
- Maintain an advanced level of knowledge of Jamf products, as well as related technologies, and integration strategies.
- Assist in planning logistical aspects and costs related to courses and services.
- Take an active role in the maintenance and development of additional curriculum, training offerings, and departmental processes.
- Create clear, concise, and professional documentation for internal and external publications
- Represents Jamf by presenting at relevant conferences, events, community groups and roadshows.
- Assists the global Services team via product testing and knowledge sharing.
- Liaises closely with Jamf product development teams to provide product feedback, drives feature requests and improvements, and influences future product roadmaps.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Native or fluent level of business English (Required).
- 3 of experience providing iOS and macOS related technical support or training to end-users (Required)
- Familiarity of Jamf Product Portfolio (Preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 50% both domestic and internationally (Required)
- Ability to adapt and solve challenges quickly and efficiently
- Excellent presentation skills in small and large group settings to both technical and non-technical audiences in onsite and remote environments (Required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter, energetic, and highly motivated
Education & Certifications
- 4 year Bachelor’s Degree preferred (or relevant industry experience)
- Jamf Certified Associate, Tech, Admin, and Expert level certifications (Preferred)
Physical Requirement (if necessary)
- Occasionally within shift (1-33%), be able to lift or carry up to 100 pounds.
