Position Overview: Under the direction of the Director of Training the EMT Instructor - will instruct and deliver all EMT training. The EMT Instructor will participate as a lab instructor of both ALS and BLS labs, build and maintain training files and monitor online training.

Requirements:

• Held EMT certification
• Must be self-motivated
• Must have organization skills
• Be proficient in all areas of Basic Life Support
• Maintain a professional appearance and decorum
• Ability to work as a team or independently

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Would prefer proficiency in the selected computer software (Moodle)
• Have the ability to act as a mentor to students
• Have the ability to instruct and teach a diverse group
• Recruitment and retention to the educational programs
• Ability to develop and carry through lesson plans
• Computer Savvy
• build certification packets for WVOEMS
• produce weekly status reports
• carry and set up equipment for training
• Be able to manage all equipment and lab set up
