The regional office located in Hopkins, MN develops and supports local unit franchisees and helps them generate and retain customers through our system of professional cleaning practices, communication, and ongoing coaching / management skills.

The Field Service Consultant position is responsible for ongoing support of Jan-Pro Franchisees and oversight of customer accounts in the Minneapolis – St. Paul metro area. The Field Service Consultant works with Jan-Pro Franchisees beginning with our franchisee certification program, coordinates site visits and new customer orientation, ensures that their service levels are meeting standards and are in compliance with brand standards, assists in resolving customer complaints, and monitoring performance through proactive visits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Build strong franchisee and customer relationships, ensure brand standards are maintained, and build upon brand loyalty.
  • Assist Regional Franchise Developer with Franchisee Certification Program.
  • Achieve full compliance with account visit schedules and 99 % client retention rates.
  • Work with franchisees on certification and overall business & skills development
  • Identify and sell value added services to customers.
  • Perform site visits & brand standard audits with feedback to franchise owners,
  • Manage new account start-ups, and new franchise owner first cleans.
  • 85% of your time will be out in the field and 15% in the office.
  • Work hours will generally be between the hours of 8:30 AM to 5.00 PM M-F, with some evenings and weekends required as needed.
  • Reliable transportation required (mileage reimbursed).

PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Hard working with a pleasant personality
  • Ability to intelligently work through customer and franchise issues
  • Undergraduate degree in related discipline is a plus
  • 2 year’s experience in customer service related field is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet operations
  • Ability to keep secure highly sensitive information and work in a confidential environment
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • 2 years facility maintenance experience a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Clear, easy to understand oral communication ability
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer (desk-top and lap-top) and other electronic equipment
  • Ability to take legible hand-written notes where necessary
  • Correctable vision and hearing
  • Lift 25 pounds
