What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Cashier position at Janitorial Co?
Summary:
The Cage Cashier will receive and exchange cash, checks and credit cards for our Guests. Provides superior Guest service, with quick and efficient transactions.
Tasks:
• Provides change for Guests and converts gaming tickets to currency.
• Maintains accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms and transaction reconciliations; including winner payoffs.
• Assists Supervisors with jackpot payouts, and conducting audits.
• Verifies funds and reconciles daily to balance drawer.
• Ensures compliance with Minimum Internal Controls standards; Title 31, as well as Tribal, state and federal regulations
• Maintains cage security according to all gaming regulations.
• Performs removal and rotation of chase and coin inventories as necessary.
• Understands and complies with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
• Performs other assigned tasks and duties as required.
Experience, Qualifications and Education:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Ability to count money accurately and quickly.
• Excellent Guest service skills.
Working Conditions:
• Long periods of sitting, standing and/or walking.
