At Idaho Crisis & Suicide Hotline (ICSH), we are committed to ensuring that those served are heard and empowered with options to stay safe while supporting their emotional well-being. Since 2014, we have provided 24/7 services and are now seeking a Clinician to join our team and help us continue to transform our services to a 988 and managed care landscape.
As a Clinician with ICSH, you will:
- Work as part of the growing clinical team that is leading the ongoing transition to 988 and a crisis care continuum in Idaho.
- Support Crisis Responders and Team Leads (non-clinical employees) in clinical decision making. These employees support Idahoans via call, text, and chat to provide crisis intervention support.
- Provide ongoing supervision to Team Leads in support of clinical decisions and professional development.
- You will ensure that people seeking help receive compassionate intervention and support and are referred to the most appropriate level of care.
- You will foster an atmosphere that is professional and respectful while adhering to all ICSH policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
- You will work closely with our partners in crisis care, including Health and Welfare’s Mobile Crisis teams.
- You will be involved in providing support and consultation for welfare checks, mandatory reporting, and complex crisis and referral situations.
- You will conduct thorough quality assurance reviews for incoming calls, texts, and chat interactions.
- You will contribute to shaping and developing the role of clinical practice within the hotline to ensure exceptional support and care delivery.
To qualify for this position:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
- Current licensure for the state of Idaho (LCSW, LCPC) or willing to work toward independent licensure (LPC, LMSW)
- Previous experience in team supervision or being part of a team
- Knowledge of the behavioral health system
- Understanding of DSM-V-TR and experience in diagnostics

Pay:
ICSH is offering a salary range of $52,588 to $62,067, depending on your level of experience and clinical licensure. As a Clinician, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve and play an invaluable role in program development.
