Responsibility Summary Field Laborer - Driller’s Assistant :
- Assists in all phases of drilling activities.
- Preparing sampling and drilling equipment for use
- Act as an assistant to a lead driller in pulling core samples of subsurface materials.
- Operating an auger which will require you to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Monitoring well development after installation and / or prior to sampling
- Backfilling and repairing pavement at completed borehole sites
Qualification Summary Field Laborer - Driller’s Assistant :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver’s license (CDL holders preferred)
- Ability to travel as needed, which could be up to 5-10 days away from home at any given time
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proven willingness to work outdoors in varying climates and temperatures
- Manual dexterity
- Capable of performing the essential responsibilities and physical requirements of this role
- Employment contingent on passing drug screen, criminal history background check, and motor vehicle record check
