Our enthusiastic, outgoing, and hardworking team at Java Java is in need of a new member! We are located in Freshfields Village; between Kiawah, Seabrook and John’s Island. The goal we have here is to produce a great, consistent product with the customer service to match - and have fun doing it! We are interested in finding an accomplished barista who has a knack for making and serving delicious beverages. In order to fill this position, it is highly recommended that our applicants find themselves comfortable working in fast paced and high volume environments. Barista Responsibilities
- Customer service skills and salesmanship
- Provide guests with thorough information on the product
- Ability to multitask
- Must be a team player with good communication skills
- Prepare all drink items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes in order to ensure consistency throughout the product
- Operate standard equipment safely and efficiently
- Keep all stations clean, organized and maintained
- Adhere to all sanitation and health codes for food production
Wages
- $18 to $22 an hour with substantial cash and credit card tips
