What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Javan?
Javan Engineering has an opportunity at a client site for an experienced Process Engineer and are seeking qualified candidates who are enthusiastic and driven to succeed. This position is full on-site and the ideal candidate will need to reliably commute to the plant in Warminster, PA.
Responsibilities:
- They will provide process understanding and guidance to engineering team members.
- Lead project coordination and client communication.
- Quality audit and approve specification packages to ensure packages meet client specific guidelines and is API/ASME compliant.
- Provide process improvements/mitigation and remediation for process safety concerns.
- Predictive Analysis.
- Review and update Process Safety Program
Education & Skills Requirements:
- Degreed chemical engineer or mechanical engineer
- 5 years Knowledge and experience
- In plant operations/on site experience required
- HSE regulations knowledge required
- SME PRD construction, operation and specification/service, sizing as per API/ ASME
- Sound knowledge in process safety and engineering, relief systems, Header analysis, Process Hazard Analysis, HAZOP/ASHRAE, Predictive Analysis required
- Automation experience a bonus.

- Site safety knowledge
- Experience working at a chemical manufacturing plant / Industrial industry
