```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Collect and process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a receptionist or secretary in a medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Experience with MicroMD would be helpful but not required
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
-Phlebotomy and medical assistant experience would be a plus
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. They should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
