What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Aide position at Jay's Bus Service?
Looking for school bus aides to fill an immediate need, work hours are split between the morning and the afternoon. School Bus Aide will accompany bus drivers on select routes in the morning as well as the afternoon to ensure students remain in their seat and are well-behaved/safe getting from one destination to another.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in transferring students from one designated location to another
- Must be able to safely load and unload students on and off the bus
- Will serve as a cross guard when deemed necessary for students
- Assist and supervise students on the bus and respond appropriately
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must have their own transportation to and from office
- Must be able to get on and off bus multiple times throughout the route
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must pass a criminal background check and a drug test
