Position: Financial Controller

Entrepeneur and small office looking for a Controller one day a week to handle small office and finance functions.

Must be expereinced, get to nuts and bolts - provide clarity while taking care of micro tasks.

Job Description:

The Financial Controller is responsible for the financial operations of Jaybz LLC. This position will oversee the financial processes and reporting for Jaybz LLC’s business units, including the operations of its accounting, finance, sales, and operational divisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for each business unit.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for each business unit.
• Work with management on budgeting and forecasting.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between bank statements and general ledger.
• Assist with annual audit preparations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
·Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including reconciliations between bank statements and general ledger.
· Ability to work with a team to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including detailed written communication.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with high pressure and deadline demands.
· Ability to work in a climate of high pressure and multiple deadlines with multiple priorities at once.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $250.00 per day

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• SAP Finance & Controlling: 6 years (Preferred)
• full charge Bookkeeping: 10 years (Required)
