What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Business Analyst position at Jayco, Inc.?
Purpose
The Technical Business Analyst will be an integral position within the IT department. This individual will be a part of the AX team that supports Jayco’s user base across 20 manufacturing sites and support locations. The ideal candidate has deep ERP knowledge and has spent time supporting an ERP system within a manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions
- Learn/understand Jayco Dynamics AX 2012 R3 application environment. Gain understanding of customizations used by Jayco. Become familiar with 3rd party modules used in conjunction with AX
- Work with end users to resolve AX helpdesk tickets escalated by Tier 1 helpdesk technicians. This requires complex troubleshooting and/or working with 3rd party consultants for resolution
- End user training and documentation – work with end users to best utilize AX functionality and help maintain/enhance Jayco AX documentation
- Identify the need for customizations or enhancements within AX. Consult with end users to gather requirements and collaborate with developer(s) to bring them to fruition
- Ensure system integrity. This includes master data, system functionality, uptime, etc. Make sure any changes to the AX environment are performed in accordance with Jayco procedures
- Be a part of large projects as outlined on the Jayco roadmap. This may include system enhancements, upgrades, new application deployment, integrations, etc.
Required Experience/Knowledge
- Associate’s degree preferred in one of these areas: Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems. AX 2012 experience preferred but demonstrated knowledge of other major ERP will be considered (NetSuite, Epicor, M3, CloudSuite)
- 3-5 years supporting IT/ERP applications within a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience working for a publicly held company operating under Sarbanes Oxley (SOX). Familiarity with annual audits and adherence to IT General Controls (ITGCs)
- Knowledge of MSSQL Server with ability to write queries or stored procedures
- Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI and SSRS
- Experience working with CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote) software or working for a manufacturer specializing in make-to-order products is a strong plus

Pay: $69,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
