Controller

Cascade Systems Technology in Hillsboro is seeking a Controller adept at Cost Accounting for our organization. This position will work closely with ownership and the CEO and is responsible for the overall accounting of the company. The ideal candidate will have an advanced understanding of financial indicators and be able to provide guidance to management specifically as it relates to manufacturing.

Duties  

• AR, AP, payroll, GL, and daily/weekly/monthly journal entries.
• Create Financial Statements.
• Report and research variances.
• Provide strategic guidance regarding financial situations.
• Create financial reports as requested.
• Liaise with banks.
• Oversee account balances.
• Ensure proper expense coding.
• Review and analyze financial data.
• Make bank deposits.
• Follow GAAP.
• Oversee and complete payroll.
• Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5 years’ experience in a bookkeeping/accounting position preferably with a manufacturing organization.
• ERP System experience required.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as word processing, managing files and records and designing forms.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision and to work closely with a team.
• Reliable transportation to run errands and make bank deposits as requested.
