Join our team now and receive our $1,500 sign-on bonus!POSITION SUMMARY: Preventative maintenance technician to reduce downtime and costs related to Fabrication machinery. REQUIREMENTS: • Primary Job Function is to reduce spending costs and downtime on all Fabrication machines. • Perform Preventive Maintenance on all Fabrication machines per manufacturer manuals and ISO documents using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments. • Repair and maintain Fabrication machines and mechanical equipment (e.g., motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems) in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments. • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical devices and replace/repair parts for proper operation. • Repair and troubleshoot control systems on CNC machines. • Make necessary pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic line connections. • Perform Tool Sharpening including break down tool, sharpen, re-measure, and placement in designated location. • Define Key Spare Parts List and maintain Key Spare Parts On-Site. • Requisition stock/items to replenish tooling and spare parts inventory. • Maintain accurate tool log. • Maintain accurate log of machine downtime through Machine Metrics. • Maintain designated storage for all tooling and spare parts inventory. • Supports and participates in Continuous Improvement projects. • Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations and being customer focused. • Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time. • Other Duties as assigned. •PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/HAZARD • Considerable bending, stooping, pushing, reaching, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 65 pounds. • Hazards: Chemicals, Heights, High Voltage lines/transformers, confined spaces, and other energy sources. • PPE (Personal Protection): Steel toed safety shoes, Safety glasses with side shields are always required. Other PPE such as hearing protection, gloves, safety goggles, respirators, etc. may be required depending upon the task at hand.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED Maintenance Experience, with emphasis on industrial electrical knowledge Advanced math and computer skills Good interpersonal skills to handle daily inquiries from various team members Knowledge of Trumpf & Onsrud machinery preferred Knowledge of PLCs, machine controls (Fanuc, OSAI), and robotics preferred Mechanical aptitude, dependable, self-motivated Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, equipment manuals, and electrical schematics Flexible work schedule (May include Holidays, or weekends to include Sundays) Training for machine operation and repairs may require travel
