Position Title: Trailer Technician
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
- Repair and maintain all systems on Thermo King and Carrier-brand refrigeration units and APU’s.
- Perform trailer DOT inspections.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Perform diagnosis on both Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units and APU units.
- Perform electrical diagnosis.
- Replace trailer clutches, brakes, and tires as necessary.
- Other general trailer duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have experience with trailer refrigeration maintenance and/or have adequate trade school training and experience.
- Must be a team player, hardworking, reliable and able to work a flexible schedule.
- Must have adequate computer skills to perform duties assigned.
- Must have proper tools to perform the job.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $18.50 per hour
