Job Title: 2 nd Shift Feed Mill Technician
Department/Location of Position: Centralia, MO
Starting Pay: $20.60/ hour
JBS Live Pork Centralia is looking for a full time 2nd shift Feed Mill Production Technician.
This position is responsible for manufacturing and shipping of animal feed.
Responsibilities include:
• Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e. grinders, batching scales, mixers, feed cleaners, pellet mills, coolers. Samples and receives ingredients by truck and monitors ingredients inventory levels.
• Manufacture feeds to ensure that they meet specifications and food safety requirements.
• Schedule production based on priorities and customer demands.
• Keep accurate, legible records.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, maintain a clean workplace.
Requirements:
• Must be able to read/comprehend English and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Good math skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Computer knowledge.
Preferred:
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the followingcompensation and benefits:
• Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off : vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule.
