Inventory Control Coordinator

TIPPER TIE is a worldwide supplier of processing and clip packaging machines. Our product range includes fine cutters for emulsified products and a complete line of clippers from tabletop models to fully automated. Our organization is currently looking for a Inventor Control Coordinator to join our Part Rooms. This position is responsible for inventory accuracy and movement.  Leads the coordination of workflow for aftermarket orders, work orders, including but not limited to handling internal requests from Purchasing and Customer Service in a timely manner.

The Opportunity ...

• Verifies, receives, and distributes purchase orders and work orders using MRP system.
• Pulls parts and machines for sales orders and completes packing slips ensuring accuracy.
• Coordinates order pulling and updating incomplete orders on a daily basis to drive and push workflow to assembly.
• Completes sales order transactions in MRP system and creates shipping labels using computerized postal and shipping program.
• Ensures all established ISO work instructions are followed at all times. Participates in ISO audits as requested.
• Performs cycle counts as required and determine root cause for discrepancies.

• At least six months experience working in a shipping area or parts inventory department.
• Must possess the ability to work effectively with others, in an independent production team environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good attention to detail and organization.
• Strong computer and analytical skills – Word, Excel.
