Systems Architect

Overview:

We are seeking a talented Software Architect to join our team.

• Objective:

The objective of this project is to collaborate with the operations team and system owners to develop a comprehensive System Architecture Document. This document will encompass the Data Flow and Architecture of all systems, detailing their interactions with each other. Additionally, it will serve as a guide for training the support team in troubleshooting procedures in case of system failures. The evaluation will cover various systems including manufacturing equipment (PLCs), SCADA, MES, Serialization, SAP, and OSI PI.

Tasks:

• Collaborate with the operations team and system owners to gather requirements for the System Architecture Document.
• Conduct a thorough analysis of the Data Flow and Architecture of all systems identified, including their interactions and dependencies.
• Develop a detailed System Architecture Document outlining the architecture of each system and their integration points.
• Include troubleshooting guidelines and procedures within the document to assist the support team during system failures.
• Review and finalize the document in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide training sessions for the support team based on the content of the System Architecture Document.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous.
• Proven experience in system architecture documentation, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in analyzing Data Flow and Architecture of complex systems, including PLCs, SCADA, MES, Serialization, SAP, and OSI PI.
• Previous experience collaborating with operations teams and system owners to gather requirements and develop comprehensive documentation.
• Proficiency in creating detailed architecture diagrams using appropriate software tools.
• Strong understanding of system integration principles and methodologies.

Familiarity with troubleshooting procedures for various systems, and the ability to translate this knowledge into comprehensive troubleshooting guidelines.

• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment (PLCs), SCADA, MES, Serialization, SAP, and OSI PI systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience conducting training sessions or workshops for technical support teams is desirable.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into easily understandable documentation for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify system dependencies and interactions.
• Experience conducting thorough system analysis to identify potential areas of improvement or optimization.
