We’re seeking a legal assistant / collector who will not only join our team but also enhance our professional and accessible atmosphere.

Your Role:

  • Manage data entry, claims review, and client communications.
  • Handle collections calls and facilitate payment transactions.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date electronic files.
  • Prepare court forms and correspondence for attorney review.
  • Actively participate in team discussions and client updates.

  • The ability to work independently and a drive to progress in the legal field.

Preferred Experience:

  • Candidates with prior experience in drafting demand letters, conducting collections calls, navigating Virginia civil court procedures, and managing judgment docketing, maintenance, and execution, including garnishments, will be given special consideration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
