What are the responsibilities and job description for the FNP position at JCHCC DBA Inclusivcare?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide Primary Care to Patients of all ages.
- Perform Physical Examinations for New and Or Established Patients.
- Utilize authorized Medical Equipment for high quality care following required training.
- Ordering, prescribing, and administering Diagnostic Tests as required.
- Communicating Test Results to patients and their families.
- Comprehensive knowledge of primary care in outpatient settings.
- Serve as a leader on the Medical Care Team.
- Collaborate with referring providers as required.
- Utilize data to drive high quality results using evidence-based cost effective approached.
EDUCATION/EDUCATION: Master’s degree Required. Doctoral Degree optional.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATION: Certified as Nurse Practitioner, Active and Unencumbered Louisiana Nursing License, Prescriptive Authority issued by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing, and Peer References. Must agree to Credential and Privileging Requirements.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Comprehensive knowledge of primary care in outpatient settings.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of modern d as related to public health organizations and community health programs, as well as current social and economic problems pertaining to public health and their impact on primary health care.
- Knowledge of the policies and procedures of a clinic sufficient to direct its operations and to provide effective patient care.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of employee development sufficient to ensure organizational productivity.
- Must be cognizant of the prevalent stressors and their impact on both the professional provider and the patient populations in the clinic setting.
- Knowledge of computer programs and applications.
